Comporta, Portugal may just be my new favorite getaway. The town is very relaxed, think of it as bohemian vibes meet beach chic. The wonderful beaches, we went to Praia da Comporta and Praia do Carvahal, with easy parking, showcased gorgeous turquoise blue waters and the perfect setting to sit back and relax. Packing for Comporta beach in Portugal or Praia da Comporta in October entails a cute straw hat, sandals, a wicker bag, sunscreen and your camera. There are so many beautiful places you’ll want to capture. Keep in mind that it’s still summer in Portugal in October so you’ll enjoy great weather, minus the traffic. I obviously packed blue and white pieces such as this oversized shirt and colorful summer dresses to mix with the stunning backdrops that Comporta has to offer.
Comporta es mi lugar preferido para una escapada de otoño. La ciudad es relajada, una mezcla entre bohemia y chic. Las playas divinas, fuimos a Praia da Comporta y Praia do Carvahal, con fácil aparcamiento, con hermosas aguas azul turquesa y el escenario perfecto para relajarse. Empacar para playa de Comporta en Portugal en octubre implica un sombrero de paja, sandalias, una cartera de paja, protector solar y tu cámara. Hay tantos lugares hermosos que querrás capturar. Ten en cuenta que en octubre todavía es verano en Portugal, por lo que disfrutarás de un clima excelente, sin tráfico. Obviamente empaqué prendas azules y blancas, como esta camisa y vestidos coloridos de verano para combinar con los fondos preciosos que Comporta tiene.
We spent an entire day at the beach, lounging under palm umbrellas, enjoying the blue waters, walking to town. One of the things I enjoy the most when going to a new place is discovering new designers and visiting local stores. I tend to shop at the same online places because I know where to find what fits me, but I also love to discover new pieces that are unique, local and you know someone took the time to hand-pick these special pieces. It naturally happened while I was in Comporta that I stumbled upon this super cute boutique called Icónica Comporta Concept Store and I found this orange and white bag. The owner, Olivia Maria Jose (it was faith!), was the sweetest and most charismatic person we met while in Comporta. I also snagged an orange vase from a local artist that I’m in love with.
Pasamos un día entero en la playa, descansando bajo sombrillas de palma, disfrutando de las aguas azules y caminando por la ciudad. Una de las cosas que más disfruto cuando voy a un lugar nuevo es descubrir nuevos diseñadores y visitar tiendas locales. Tiendo a comprar en los mismos lugares en línea porque sé dónde encontrar lo que me conviene, pero también me encanta descubrir nuevas piezas que son únicas, locales y sabes que alguien se tomó el tiempo de seleccionar cuidadosamente estas piezas especiales. Naturalmente sucedió mientras estaba en Comporta que me topé con esta boutique súper linda, Icónica Comporta Concept Store, y encontré este bolso naranja y blanco.

We spent the afternoon here enjoying the sun, walking on the beach, watching the sunset, enjoying a glass of wine, sushi and all the wonderful that is Comporta beach.
