If you’re spending one day in Melbourne, take it easy and hop on the tram and train (get a MyKy card at the 7 Eleven, put 15 AUD for a roundtrip), and visit the Brighton Beach Bathing Houses in the City of Bayside for Melbourne’s rainbow row of huts. They are super cute. You can spend the day at the beach, take pics and walk to Middle Brighton, check out the town, grab a coffee or a bite and head back to Melbourne. It’s worth the 50 minutes in the train. After you come back to the city, you can go to the Botanical Gardens and walk around in the city.
