What to Wear to Kaiteriteri Beach

TOP: SOLID & STRIPED THE CROPPED CABANA TOP (ALSO LOVING THIS OXFORD TUNIC) | BOTTOM: SOLID & STRIPED THE AVRIL SHORT (GREAT CHARLIE SHORT IN WHITE) | HAT: FREYA GARDENIA HAT IN BONE COLOR (ALSO AVAILABLE VIA SAKS).

Kaiteriteri Beach and Little Kaiteriteri Beach are known for their lovely golden sand and turquoise water. You’ll get to see the Abel Tasman National Park, which is located in the South Island of New Zealand, a must-to experience if you’re in the area. Be aware that the parking is very limited, the beaches are crowded and are not that big. It’s worth to see them and spend some time there but personally, I like Tahunanui Beach in Nelson better because it’s a long beach, you can walk for over 45 minutes and still feel you have your own space even in the busiest summer days. The beach banks are lovely and the mountains sea contrast is beautiful.

I choose to wear this super easy matching crop top and shorts set from Solid & Striped and it was very comfortable to take to lunch at Hooked on Marahau, which is north of Kaiteriteri, where there’s plenty of parking and then into Kaitereiri Beach. A straw hat is always a must because even though the sky may be over casted at times, the sun is very strong in this side of the world and if you’re not careful you’ll get burned. Trust me, I learned the hard way.
