Pink on Pink

During Thanksgiving weekend I visited the Long House in East Hampton, NY. It’s a beautiful reserve filled with beautiful gardens, sculptures and art everywhere. Lucky me it was member-day so we got to tour the house, which showed the owner’s textile work. As you may already know, I’m really into full/midi skirts. A full skirt adds curves and slims the waist, which works great for me because I’ve always wanted to have a smaller waist or bigger hips and since that doesn’t seem to be happening, I LOVE when I find clothes that make this happen. This skirt has some serious twirl-action going on. This along with the other midi skirts I’ve been showing you lately are by far my favorite skirts of the moment. In order to keep things stylish and fun, I paired this bubbly pink ASOS midi skirt with my favorite pink tippi sweater from J.Crew, my pink Prada Saffiano lux small tote, House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea sunglasses, coach watch via T.J.Maxx, Stella & Dot renegade cluster bracelets, and pointy-toe Zara heels. To complete the look I added a gold skinny belt from J.Crew to add a little sparkle. These photos were taken at the Council ring, seating area in the southwest corner of the property. It was a magical place, I felt a little bit like Snow White in the forest.

Während der Thanksgiving-Wochenende besuchte ich das Long House in East Hampton, NY. Es ist eine schöne Reserve mit schönen Gärten, Skulpturen und Kunst überall gefüllt. Put a Bow On It

Plaid, bows and tippi sweaters are just a few of my favorite things in the fall season. I can’t have enough tippi sweaters, they’re the best! Put these three items together and well… nothing gets better than that! I love bows so when I saw these cuties at Mango a few weeks ago, I had to have them plus they match my favorite BP boots from Nordstrom. They have them in black and brown as well. Let’s talk about this scarf; it’s soft, cozy, and it’s a great “on the go” accessory that can make any outfit pop. I wear this outfit to the office on casual Fridays, most recently I wore this outfit when Will and I went for a stroll in East Hampton with the puppies: Pablo and Taj (you’ve probably seen photos of them if you follow me on Instagram, they’re the cutest puppies). Tela escocesa, lazos y suéteres tippi son sólo algunas de mis cosas favoritas en la temporada de otoño. No puedo tener suficiente suéteres tippi, son los mejores! Me encantan los lazos, cualquier prenda de ropa que tenga lazos, muero por ellas, así que cuando ví estas bellezas en Mango hace unas semanas, tuve que comprarlas además que combinan con mis botas favoritas BP de Nordstrom. Las tienen en negro y marrón también. Hablemos de esta bufanda, es suave y acogedora, y es un gran acccesorio para esos días que estás apurada y hacen que cualquier atuendo haga un pop. Me pongo este conjunto para la oficina en los viernes casuales, la última vez que me puse este conjunto fue cuando Will y yo nos fuimos a dar un paseo en East Hampton con los cachorros: Pablo y Taj (ustedes probablemente han visto fotos de ellos si me siguen en Instagram, ellos son los perritos más lindos). Black & White Flair

When it comes to the holidays, you’ll usually catch me in full or midi skirts and sky-high heels with pops of colors, but today I’m changing things up a bit. Instead of adding a pop of color (post with a pop of color coming up soon) this time, I went with a feminine flair that consists of this Asos top with extreme ruffle neckline (also loving this dress from Asos that has that it flair, Asos is currently offering 30% OFF everything with code GIMMEMORE, it’s on Christmas shopping!), tibi paint splatter full skirt, House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea sunglasses, Coach watch via T.J.Maxx, Stella & Dot renegade cluster bracelets, BaubleBar original pave links bracelet, Anarchy Street classic nail bangle. I like to mix new trends with what I have already in my closet. I love the black and white play the top, skirt and shoes have on this look.

Cuando se trata de mis looks para las fiestas navideñas por lo general, me pongo faldas full o midi y tacones altísimos con pop de colores, pero hoy voy a cambiar un poco las cosas. Seeing Stripes

In light of the rapid approaching holidays, I decided to do a pop of red lookbook post to get into the holiday cheer.
