Sunshine

Hello sunshine! This weekend almost felt like spring. I think it was the first time this year that I wore heels and flats and didn’t feel too cold. As the spring approaches, I wanted to share an outfit with a pop of color. I love this lime skirt because it screams spring, I can wear it with simple tops and it looks sophisticated. Sometimes simple is better.

Hallo Sonnenschein! Dieses Wochenende fühlte fast wie im Frühling. Ich denke, dass es war das erste Mal in diesem Jahr, dass ich Schuhe trug und fühlte sich nicht zu kalt. Wie der Frühling nähert, wollte ich ein Outfit mit einem Knall der Farbe zu teilen. Ich liebe diesen Kalk Rock, weil es schreit Frühling, ich kann es mit einfachen Tops tragen und es anspruchsvolle aussieht. Manchmal einfach besser ist.

Por fin salio el sol y el frío no esta tan terribe! Este fin de semana se sintió casi como la primavera. Creo que fue la primera vez este año que me puse tacones y flats y no sentí mucho frío. Al acercarse la primavera, quería compartir un outfit con un toque de color. Me encanta esta falda de color lima porque grita primavera, puedo usarla con blusas sencillas y se ve super sofisticada. A veces simple es mejor.

Fur Fur Fur

I love my Banana Republic faux fur vest (similar here) that I got this past Christmas. It’s very cozy and you can add a belt to add a dash of sophistication to it. I had so much fun doing this shoot with the talented Terrica Epps, she was a joy to work with.

In order to keep this outfit polished and feminine, I added a sleek silk pocket blouse from J.Crew, J.Crew leopard belt, Nordstrom BP faux leather leggings, Zara leopard pumps (similar here), LAMB bag, Stella & Dot renegade cluster bracelets (they have it in rose pink now, I know what is going on my wish list stat!), Anarchy Street classic nail bangle, Coach watch, BaubleBar chevron rings, ladybug midi ring courtesy of Ibiza Passion, Fornash Chloe earrings, House of Harlow Chelsea sunglasses.

Me encanta mi chaleco de piel sintética de Banana (similar aquí) que me dieron esta Navidad. Es muy acogedor y puedes añadir un cinturón para obtener un toque de sofisticación al mismo tiempo.

Red & Pink Pops

I’m already in a spring state of mind and that means sharing some of my favorite color combos: red and pink. They just go so well together plus it puts me in a better mood when I think I’ll be wearing this outfit without a coat soon enough… where are you spring? This outfit is a great example of how I am transitioning from winter to spring. Bright colors, short sleeve tops and my favorite skirt: the full skirt.

ASOS Midi Skirt with Full Pleats (love the black one too), Bebe short sleeve dress worn as a top, Zara red heels (I have these Alice & Olivia as well because you can never have too many pairs of red heels), Danielle Nicole Alexa mini crossbody (such a great bag, chic and pretty and under $100, do I need to say more?), and you know I can’t leave the house with my favorite House of Harlow Chelsea sunglasses. Accessories: J.Crew bracelet (I got this one over Christmas and I absolutely love it! Well done Tony and Carol, here’s a similar one), Stella & Dot renegade cluster bracelets (they have it in rose pink now, I know what is going on my wish list stat!), Anarchy Street classic nail bangle, Coach watch, earrings courtesy of The Front Row (I absolutely love these drops, you can wear them with everything and they are under $20!).

Ya estoy en un estado de ánimo de primavera y eso significa compartir algunos de mis looks y mis colores preferidos: rojo y rosado. Red on red, a little bit of pop and a dash of glamour make for a Valentine’s Day perfect wardrobe. Red on red is a classic and bold combination.
