Shopping my own closet, getting my creativity flowing to update outfits from years past is a lot of fun. Now that I’m in my 40s, 41 years to be exact, I update some of my usual looks with looser items and not as many crop tops. Although is still love them but choose carefully when I want to wear them. I know if I’m going for a casual dinner, I’ll be more comfortable with a bodysuit but if we are in Europe and heading out for cocktails, I may choose the crop top for a more wow effect. This particular look was an update from the one I used in Comporta 3 years ago and one that I repeat a lot while I spent time in Ecuador at the beginning of summer.
It’s easy, the skirt is a dream and perfect for any tropical outing. I’ver worn it with a white tee for an even more casual look. The Tkees sandals are perfect for cocktails at the beach. They are casual but are more elegant than the jelly ones and because of the material they look nicer than every day flip flops. The accessories are key, seashell earrings, white and gold necklace for a beachy finish. I may be wearing this look again this weekend for this all-white party but the theme is blue sunset beach so it’s asking for a blue mix in the dress code if you asked me. I guess I’ll make a decision depending on how I feel that day.
