Today’s outfit of the day is a very easy summer look formula that I wore to walk around Ostuni in northern Puglia. Putting outfits together and mixing basic pieces that I already have in my closet with new ones I’ve carefully curated is what makes the process fun. Getting dressed isn’t about the label, styling your outfits with what feels the most you is the whole point. For instance, I used this simple white tee with a one size pareo that is colorful and when wrapped around it can serve as a skirt. I added this adorable necklace I got from Amazon that I get the most compliments as well as my $15 sunglasses.
The jelly shows are from a few years ago from Old Navy that I wore on the plane and to walk around towns, very comfortable and they look super cute. I added a wide brim hat for later in the day when the sun was at it’s peak to avoid a sunburn and to keep cooler as temperatures can get pretty high. One thing that I will note is that the heat is dry, just as in Madrid so ladies, be ready for your hair to be thankful. Ostuni was the cutest town, so many antique stores, the owners barely spoke English but with our Spanish and their Italian we made it work. The pareo has been very handy during this trip, I’ve worn it 3 times already, to walk around Ostuni, to lounge by the pool, to the beach and to lounge in the hotel.
