What to Wear on 4th of July

DRESS: CHARO RUIZ IBIZA IRENE MAXI DRESS (DUPE HERE) | SHOES: STEVE MADDEN HADYN COGNAC LEATHER SANDALS | SUNGLASSES: KAREN WALKER SUPER DUPER STRENGTH ROUND ACETATE SUNGLASSES.

If you haven’t seen Charo Ruiz’s collections yet, let me introduce you to these beauties. The beautiful pieces are inspired by Ibiza living. The broderie cotton-blend dress is light, elegant and summer perfection. Simply add flat sandals or wide heel shoes for a more elegant look. I got this dress last year when I went to Ibiza (it’s cheaper if you get it in Europe versus the U.S.) and I still love it since the day I bought it. If you are in the EU and don’t see your size on the website, send them a message on WhatsApp, they will find it for you and help you get it. They have a few variations of the dress, lengths, colors, sets but this one is my favorite.

Nothing says summer like a little white dress. A white maxi dress is perfect for 4th of July celebrations especially when you’re in locations such as Sag Harbor that you need something light and breathable but also wrap you around for those early morning and evening winds. I’ll be sure to take this to Spain where we are heading next and wear it on our European mini moon, Madrid is a bit too warm at the moment to wear a maxi dress this time of the year but it’s in my bag. The dress fits true to size, I’m on an XS size.

You can accessorize the dress with fun and colorful pieces, statement jewelry or keep is simple with studs as I tend to do. What caught my attention on this dress is that it has a very nice form-fitting silhouette with delicate buttons at the front. The balconette neckline and corseted bodice and asymmetrical skirt are very different and romantic so naturally it was love at first sight. There’s a yellow/white combo that came out a while ago and is tempting me!
