Palm Beach is always sunny even in the winter months you can get away with a maxi or midi dress for daytime and throw on a sweater or a light jacket in the evening. This weekend, I wore this very form-fitting STAUD dress for an afternoon of shopping on Worth Avenue, drinks at The Colony Hotel, and dinner in Buccan, a must if you’re visiting. STAUD dresses are so beautiful, the quality, fabric, the flared skirts and square necks are effortless elegant. On President’s Day, I wore a maxi dress and a put on a shawl because it got windy in the early afternoon. Others were wearing linen pants, printed tops and jean/suede jackets or chunky sweaters. By Wednesday it was 70 degrees F again, so it was back to summer dressing.

It’s always resort wear in Palm Beach paradise. Palm Beach is a lot more relaxed than Miami, sophisticated and chic. When in doubt, overdress. For the men, a jacket or collar shirt for the nicer places are recommended. Everyone wears white year around so bring them on! If you want to match the background, plan to pack pinks and greens as you’ll see these colors throughout the island, from the houses to hotels. I do dress up a little more when going to Renato’s but for the most part, my go-to resort style sticks, maxi dresses and sandals. If it helps, I wear the same thing I would wear in the Hamptons.
