Holiday Splatter

Christmas is coming up faster than I thought so I want to share with you one of my favorite holiday looks consisting of this perfectly feminine splatter paint full skirt from tibi (last seen here, similar here), which comes in two colors, black and white multi and red and black multi. What’s so great about this skirt is that you can dress it up or down and feel great either way. You’ve probably seen it on a series of fashion-forward ladies such as Aimee Song from Song of Style, Eva Chen from Lucky Magazine during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Blair Eadie from Atlantic Pacific, one of my favorite bloggers and many others. I first saw it on Aimee Song and as soon as it was available online, I bought it. Every year or every other year I make one big purchase. You know that one thing you save all year long for. I was coveting it so much and I couldn’t be happier with the quality, color, pattern, everything.

Who What Wear, one of my daily reads, calls this skirt, ‘the skirt every street style it-girl is wearing,’ and with a reason. The skirt is every bit as picturesque as it is covet-worthy, couldn’t agree more Who What Wear. To continue with my glamorous Christmas look, I added a pop of red through this Danielle Nicole Alexa Mini Crossbody bag, Zara heels and my favorite J.Crew tippi sweater, I totally recommend these sweaters, they’re the best. I wear them to the office, on a casual day to stroll down Washington Square Park.. the list never ends. I always attempt to have an element of sophistication in each of my looks. My essential accessory is sometimes a statement necklace, a stack of bracelets or a pop of color on my shoes. I always try to incorporate something that pops especially when it comes to necklaces. On today’s outfit, I went with a statement crystal necklace from J.Crew Factory (now $39, plus all of J.Crew Factory items are 50% off with code 12DAYS, I know all the tippi sweater lovers are taking advantage of this deal!), another top-notch statement necklace I’m happy to add to my growing collection (it was an early Christmas present from me to me). Wanting to get a casual yet stylish look I went with a black and combo by wearing this form-fitted Asos midi skirt with stitch waist detail (also loving this one), my Asos Bonjour sweater (loving this one) and Shoe Dazzle pumps. With the snow taken over the East Coast, warm and cozy jackets are a must! Today, I want to share my favorite winter coat with you. I’ve had it for a few years and I love it every time I take it out of my clothes bag every winter season. Lucky you, J.Crew brings it back every year in a variety of colors for every style. These photos were also taken at the Long House reserve in East Hampton, NY. The little bow gloves and faux fur scarf add soft and gentle details to the overall look. When I want to dress up my outfit I wear the scarf showing the crystals and when I want to be more casual, I just turn it around. Pink on Pink

During Thanksgiving weekend I visited the Long House in East Hampton, NY. It’s a beautiful reserve filled with beautiful gardens, sculptures and art everywhere. Lucky me it was member-day so we got to tour the house, which showed the owner’s textile work. As you may already know, I’m really into full/midi skirts. A full skirt adds curves and slims the waist, which works great for me because I’ve always wanted to have a smaller waist or bigger hips and since that doesn’t seem to be happening, I LOVE when I find clothes that make this happen. This skirt has some serious twirl-action going on. This along with the other midi skirts I’ve been showing you lately are by far my favorite skirts of the moment. In order to keep things stylish and fun, I paired this bubbly pink ASOS midi skirt with my favorite pink tippi sweater from J.Crew, my pink Prada Saffiano lux small tote, House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea sunglasses, coach watch via T.J.Maxx, Stella & Dot renegade cluster bracelets, and pointy-toe Zara heels. To complete the look I added a gold skinny belt from J.Crew to add a little sparkle. These photos were taken at the Council ring, seating area in the southwest corner of the property. It was a magical place, I felt a little bit like Snow White in the forest.

Con el fin de mantener las cosas elegantes y divertidas, combiné esta burbujeante falda rosada midi de ASOS midi con mi suéter rosa tippi favorito de J.Crew, mi rosa cartera pequeña Prada Saffiano lux, gafas House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea, reloj coach via T.J.Maxx, Stella & Dot renegade cluster pulseras y zapatos de tacón Zara. Para completar el look he añadido un cinturón dorado de J.Crew para añadir un poco de chispa. Estas fotos fueron tomadas en el Council ring, área en la esquina suroeste de la propiedad de estar.
