Shorts Season

Spring days in Sag Harbor area wonderful ways to spend your weekends. Días de primavera en Sag Harbor son una manera linda de pasar tus fines de semana. A Pablo le encanta la playa, la bahía.. cogen el punto.. estaba súper emocionado de ir a la playa que se me unió a esta sesión de fotos. Esta época del año todavía hace un poco de frio en la playa asi que no te olvides de llevar un sueter o un blazer para mantenerte calientita. Mixing It Up for Formals

Since I’m in a formal wagon, given that my sister’s wedding is next weekend, my best friend is getting married in September, etc., I continue to make up outfits in my head. I mean I can’t buy a new dress or outfit for every wedding I have, not that I wouldn’t want to but let’s be real, who can afford that. Luckily for me, I have collected statement skirts throughout the years, they have been sort of a gift from me to me, and I have carefully selected these pieces knowing that they are timeless, classic and I will love them forever. I simply adore this skirt, all midi skirts are fabulous but this one has the tulle underneath, the print is perfection and I love twirling in it. Wanting to keep things simple and classy, I added a pretty simple black tube top to make it into a formal outfit. You can add sandals, pumps or a pop of color to dress up your feet, you get the idea. Ya que estoy en wedding mode, dado que el matrimonio de mi ñaña es el próximo fin de semana, mi mejor amiga se casa en septiembre, etc., continuo armando conjuntos en mi cabeza. Snowberry

Wedding season is upon us and that means outfit planning has begun. I love wearing dresses to weddings but I also love mixing statement skirts with cute, elegant tops that can make a formal outfit with a little bit of a twist. Take this adorable pastel lilac Nicholas bonded crepe wrap top (now on sale, I’m wearing a size 4) for example. I can wear it to a wedding with a statement asymmetrical skirt like this snowberry ball skirt from Anthropologie by NOIR Sachin & Babi (similar from Asos) that focuses on elaborate details, including a particular expertise in embroidery showcasing a classic yet modern skirt or wear it with a pencil skirt to go out on a date night or with a tulle skirt for another special occasion. Get out of your comfort zone and you’ll be surprised what you come up with. If you want to add another pop of color to this outfit, you can also try wearing blue sandals but I wanted to keep things simply and classy this I opted for this neutral Zara pointy-toe pumps, metallic rose clutch that I snagged from T.J.Maxx for $9.99 and my favorite J.Crew crystal earrings (similar from Baublebar).
