Snowberry

Wedding season is upon us and that means outfit planning has begun. I love wearing dresses to weddings but I also love mixing statement skirts with cute, elegant tops that can make a formal outfit with a little bit of a twist. Take this adorable pastel lilac Nicholas bonded crepe wrap top (now on sale, I’m wearing a size 4) for example. I can wear it to a wedding with a statement asymmetrical skirt like this snowberry ball skirt from Anthropologie by NOIR Sachin & Babi (similar from Asos) that focuses on elaborate details, including a particular expertise in embroidery showcasing a classic yet modern skirt or wear it with a pencil skirt to go out on a date night or with a tulle skirt for another special occasion. Get out of your comfort zone and you’ll be surprised what you come up with. If you want to add another pop of color to this outfit, you can also try wearing blue sandals but I wanted to keep things simply and classy this I opted for this neutral Zara pointy-toe pumps, metallic rose clutch that I snagged from T.J.Maxx for $9.99 and my favorite J.Crew crystal earrings (similar from Baublebar). Tied Away

Brown, white and black are one of my favorite outfit combos. The color scheme makes it a classic yet leaves room for a lot of creativity for your final look. The leopard heels a little print fun and the oversized bow just makes it an office-ready-to-wear outfit. I can even turn this look into a Halloween costume if I add knee-high stockings, a side ponytail and a notebook. Just trying to be creative here. Café, blanco y negro son uno de mis combos preferidos. El esquema de colores hacen de este look una combinación clásica pero te da lugar para la creatividad. Off to the Races

Vintage, veiled, designer-fascinators, street style, spring palettes, sundresses and dapper suits took over this weekend at the Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes and Gold Cup. Racegoers used their most colorful pieces to assemble their mint-julep/off-to-the-races looks. Headpieces were all over the tracks and the scenes were just beautiful. Not to worry, there’s still time for you to part take on this affair. Belmont Stakes has more races this month and next so try some of my tips and go flaunt your look. Whether you go with a multicolor plumage, feathers, sunhats or fascinators, have fun putting your outfit together, I know I am! Any Day is a Good Day for a Tulle Skirt

With spring and summer events, all my midi skirts are making their way back to my wardrobe (even though they never really left because I used them every now and then during the winter!) and I’m trying to decide (not easy) which one to wear next. Tulle skirts are really easy to use. White tulle skirts and stripe popovers were a no-brainer. Easy, classy, feminine, clean and put-together, don’t you think? This combo is perfect for a weekend brunch, bridal shower, meet up with your girlfriends, dinner with your boyfriend’s parents (they know me so they will totally expect this look, my boyfriend on the other hand will just give me that look). Mit den Frühling und Sommer-Events, meine Midiröcke wollten ihren Weg zurück zu meinem Kleiderschrank (obwohl sie nie wirklich verlassen, weil ich sie hin und wieder während des Winters!) Con eventos de primavera y verano a la vuelta de la esquina, todas mis faldas midi están haciendo su camino de regreso a mi armario (a pesar de que en realidad nunca se fueron porque las usé de vez en cuando durante el invierno!) Y estoy tratando de decidir (no es fácil), cual me voy a poner en mi próxima salida. Faldas de tul son muy fáciles de usar. Faldas de tul blanco y camisas de manga corta de raya fue una combinación obvia. Fácil, con clase, femenino, limpio, ¿no crees? Este combo es perfecto para un brunch de fin de semana, shower nupcial, reunirte con tus amigas, cena con los padres de tu novio (me conocen y se que no les sorprendería si me ven con este look, mi novio, por otro lado me daría esa mirada).
