Black & White

When I really like an outfit and it fits just right, I tend to get it in a few colors. I wore this Asos peplum hem pencil skirt (also loving this one here) in a bright color last time here. Today, I’m sharing with you how you can wear very similar items with a black version of the skirt and be playful with accessories and voila you have another look without buying a whole of new things. I wore a Bebe striped top, Zara heels and LAMB bag for a black and white classic combo.

Ich trug dieses Asos Schößchen Saum Bleistiftrock (auch liebevoll diese hier) in einer hellen Farbe letzten Mal hier angezogen. Heute werde ich mit Ihnen teilen, wie Sie sehr ähnliche Artikel mit einem schwarzen Version des Rock zu tragen und werden spielerisch mit Zubehör und voila Sie einen anderen Look, ohne den Kauf einer ganz neuen Dingen haben. Ich trug ein gestreiftes Top Bebe, Zara Heels und LAMB Tasche für einen Schwarz-Weiß-Klassiker-Combo.

Cuando me gusta un outfit y me queda ahi, tiendo a comprarlo en algunos colores. Me puse esta falda peplum de Asos (también me encanta esta de aquí) en un color amarillo por última vez aquí. Hoy, estoy compartiendo con ustedes cómo pueden usar prendas muy similares con una versión en negro y blanco y jugar con los accesorios y voila ustedes tienen otro look sin necesidad de comprar un conjunto de cosas nuevas. Yo llevaba un top Bebe rayas, tacones de Zara y el bolso de LAMB para un combo clásico blanco y negro.

Fur Fur Fur

I love my Banana Republic faux fur vest (similar here) that I got this past Christmas. It’s very cozy and you can add a belt to add a dash of sophistication to it. I had so much fun doing this shoot with the talented Terrica Epps, she was a joy to work with.

In order to keep this outfit polished and feminine, I added a sleek silk pocket blouse from J.Crew, J.Crew leopard belt, Nordstrom BP faux leather leggings, Zara leopard pumps (similar here), LAMB bag, Stella & Dot renegade cluster bracelets (they have it in rose pink now, I know what is going on my wish list stat!), Anarchy Street classic nail bangle, Coach watch, BaubleBar chevron rings, ladybug midi ring courtesy of Ibiza Passion, Fornash Chloe earrings, House of Harlow Chelsea sunglasses.

Me encanta mi chaleco de piel sintética de Banana (similar aquí) que me dieron esta Navidad. Es muy acogedor y puedes añadir un cinturón para obtener un toque de sofisticación al mismo tiempo.

Con el fin de mantener este look pulido y femenino, añadí una blusa de bolsillo de seda chic de J.Crew, cinturón de leopardo de J.Crew, leggings de cuero de imitación de Nordstrom BP, zapatos de leopardo de Zara (aquí similares), cartera de LAMB, pulseras de Stella & Dot (la tienen en rosa rosa ahora, ya sé lo que voy a poner en mi lista de deseos ahora mismo!), brazalete clásico Anarchy Street, reloj Coach, anillos Chevron de BaubleBar, anillo midi de ladybug cortesía de Ibiza Passion, arêtes Chloe de Fornash, gafas de House of Harlow Chelsea.

Anchor It

Anchors, anchors, anchors… can’t get enough of them! This JCrew anchor blouse has become one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I can wear it pretty much with any skirt, shorts, pants, jeans and any other complimentary piece I have. It just fits right.

This time, I mixed my JCrew anchor blouse with a Zara lace skirt and Max Azria shoes for a fresh look. This amazing Clare Vivier pouch made dressing up fun. Anchors + lace + stripes = fun couture salad.

You can wear this outfit to go out for brunch, date, shopping… shall I go on? I know you get the point. It’s not a party without accessories to play with. So here you have them: Michael Kors oversize gold watch Stella & Dot bracelet, Lauren Ellan pearl necklace, Asos zig zag rings and the cat eye end wouldn’t be one without the House of Harlow Chelsea 1960 sunglasses.

Tip of the day: don’t be afraid to mix and match. Be playful and have fun putting outfits together. Before you know it, you’ll be pairing up a new necklace with a dress you your mom use to wear (which is over 30 years old but you brought it back to live by adding the right accessories and your personal style).

Trina

Silk blouses have always been a good friend of mine. They’re reliable throughout seasons and always have that easy, comfy, chic feel. I wear this Trina Turk silk blouse with peach jeans in the spring and with JCrew Minnie pants at the office year around. Let’s move to outfit enhancement now.

Flats are a must-have in my bag. Blush flats are a must-have on every girl’s closet. You can get them pretty much everywhere but why pay $100 for flats you’re going to wore out in less than a year right? Mine are from Payless (under $20) and they look and feel great.

My LAMB bag was another bargain I got a few years ago at Loehmmans. Michael Kors oversize gold watch, House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea sunglasses, Stella & Dot bracelet and Forever 21 rings and JCrew belt completed my outfit. The top knot has become one of my favorite accessories for two reasons: it’s soooo easy to do (it takes me less than 2 minutes and keeps me out of trouble when I’m running late for work) and always looks classy.
