Mad about Plaid

Two of my favorite things when it comes to fall fashion is plaid and a pop of color. Today, I continue to share with you my love for full/midi skirts. This cobalt midi skirt is perfection. You don’t need much to make a fun and dressy outfit out of this one. Wanting to keep things stylish and a bit preppy, I added my favorite plaid shirt from J.Crew and my favorite pearl necklace from Lauren Elan (last seen here), plus other jewels to complete my arm party, coach watch via T.J.Maxx, Stella & Dot renegade cluster bracelets, BaubleBar original pave links bracelet. I’m all about the pop of colors so I couldn’t resist to add a pop of red with this merry merry red Zara asymmetric heels and this super cute Danielle Nicole tote bag. You don’t have to break the bank to put together a stylish outfit. The only thing new (well, got it in the last few months) is the Asos midi skirt, everything else I already had. Whenever I’m putting together an outfit, my wardrobe treasures flash through my mind and I end up with outfits like this. Which can also be worn to some of the holiday parties you have coming up.

Sie müssen nicht die Bank brechen zusammen ein stilvolles Outfit zu setzen. Das einzige, was neue (gut, habe es in den letzten Monaten) ist die Asos Midirock, alles andere hatte ich schon. Immer, wenn ich die Zusammenstellung ein Outfit, meine Garderobe Schätze blinken mir durch den Kopf und ich am Ende mit Outfits wie dieses. Trendy Thursday: Colorblock Winter

As you may already know, I love everything J.Crew. Regardless of the season I always manage to go in there and find the prettiest of things. I usually justify my purchases by saying “I can wear a tippi sweater to work and on a casual day,” which is true but you know what I mean. As I was putting this post together, I was already browsing through the J.Crew website and I couldn’t get away as I was contemplating all these great winter pieces that did not only made this trendy Thursday rock but they’re at a great price with all the discounts going on. Since I couldn’t pick just a couple of winter staples, I put together some of my favorites. J.Crew colorblock funnelneck coat, J.Crew toothpick jean, J.Crew wool-cashmere turtleneck sweater (love a cozy turtleneck in the wintertime), Zara waist coat, Celine bag, DV by Dolce Vita Celvin booties.

Festive Feathers

2014 is only a few weeks away. It’s unbelievable how fast time flies. Holiday parties are popping up everywhere and the question of what to wear to a holiday party continues to crowd our minds. 2014 está sólo a unas semanas. Es increíble lo rápido que pasa el tiempo. Holiday Splatter

Christmas is coming up faster than I thought so I want to share with you one of my favorite holiday looks consisting of this perfectly feminine splatter paint full skirt from tibi (last seen here, similar here), which comes in two colors, black and white multi and red and black multi. What’s so great about this skirt is that you can dress it up or down and feel great either way. You’ve probably seen it on a series of fashion-forward ladies such as Aimee Song from Song of Style, Eva Chen from Lucky Magazine during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Blair Eadie from Atlantic Pacific, one of my favorite bloggers and many others. I first saw it on Aimee Song and as soon as it was available online, I bought it. Every year or every other year I make one big purchase. You know that one thing you save all year long for. I was coveting it so much and I couldn’t be happier with the quality, color, pattern, everything.

Who What Wear, one of my daily reads, calls this skirt, ‘the skirt every street style it-girl is wearing,’ and with a reason. The skirt is every bit as picturesque as it is covet-worthy, couldn’t agree more Who What Wear. To continue with my glamorous Christmas look, I added a pop of red through this Danielle Nicole Alexa Mini Crossbody bag, Zara heels and my favorite J.Crew tippi sweater, I totally recommend these sweaters, they’re the best. I wear them to the office, on a casual day to stroll down Washington Square Park.. the list never ends.
