If you’re wondering what to wear to your favorite vineyard, in my case that will be Wölffer Estate Vineyard, think about something stylish yet very comfortable. Wine tasting is the perfect way to spend time with friends, unplug from work and unwind in a beautiful space. I love anything Alexis and this is my new favorite cardigan. I like it because I can wear it on its own as a cropped top with high-waisted shorts or wide-legged pants when we are in full fall season. It’s the perfect wear-everywhere staple to carry you through the seasons. It’s elegant that you can wear it out on a date but you can also wear it down with a casual bottom and sneakers for running errands around the city.
I was at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, in the middle on tranquil Sagaponack in the Hamptons, a couple of weeks ago and this was the perfect look for an afternoon of wine tasting (see my latest post here with all the information you need to know to book a reservation at the Estate, wine stand or the restaurant in Amagansett). The wines are exquisite, they have my favorite rose, which is the summer in a bottle rose and it comes in the prettiest designed bottle obviously.
The views from either location are spectacular. Here, I’m at the wine stand, that is more casual, still have plenty of seating available and going back just reminded me of the long summer days listening to live music on the weekends and the energy from the place. It was chilly during the day but once the sun came out the cardigan was perfect on its own. I’ll share a few more details so it’s easier for you to plan your trip.
The vineyard expands through a 55-acre property, it’s just 100 miles from New York City, which is perfect getaway. I miss the tasting options but I have no doubt that they will come back soon enough! The entire visit is an experience. Whether you’re at the wine stand and are greeted by the beautifully decorated pink drive-through wine stand or you’re at the estate where you enter through a European-esque, Spanish looking entrance, then you walk through the tasting room to get to the mesmerizing garden, where you just take in all the beauty that the vineyard has to offer.

You can make reservations via Explorestock up to two weeks in advance, which I highly recommend because the reservations go fast, even the 11AM on a Thursday! No matter the reason, whether it’s a day, weekend or week getaway, I love going there to relax, hang out with my friends, have a glass or a bottle of wine and tasty charcuteries while being immersed in the beautiful scenery.

Me encanta todo de la marca Alexis y este es mi nuevo cárdigan preferido. Me gusta porque puedo usarlo solo como un top corto con shorts a la cintura o pantalones anchos cuando estamos en plena temporada de otoño. Es la prenda básica perfecta que te puedes poner a través de las estaciones. Es elegante y puedas usarlo en una cita, pero también puedes usarlo con un pantalón informal y zapatillas para hacer recados por la ciudad. Estuve en Wölffer Estate Vineyard hace un par de semanas y este fue el look perfecto para una tarde de cata de vinos. Hacía frío durante el día, pero una vez que salió el sol, el cárdigan era perfecto por sí solo.
