Let’s start with the fun part, where to go when you’re in Paris. Whether you’re looking for pre-dinner drinks, after dinner cocktails or just looking for that special place to wind down the day after long days, I can recommend the below ones as a must list. If you’re in town for just a day or two, I would go to recommend trying at least the first 3. They are decadent and encompass ambiance, good times, great cocktails, excellent staff and the perfect setting for a night or two in the most romantic city in the world. I’ve heard Paris is overrated but let me tell you, I love it so far and already writing down places I may not get to see this time but will on the next trip.
The Bar 228 at the @lemeuriceparis was fantastic, enjoyed champagne cocktails while listening to live music next to the Michelin 2-star restaurant, that I didn’t get to try this time but will try next time I’m in town. Dress the part as this place is the place to see and be seen.
The Hemingway Bar was a swanky and cozy bar at the @ritzparis. You feel like you got transported back in time. It’s great for cocktails and ambiance, I love that they always serve cocktail drinks for the ladies with flowers. The menu comes in the shape of a newspaper and the space is just fabulous. They constantly serve you olives and nuts and chips in a beautiful silver setting, if you get hungry try the mini hot dogs and hamburgers. A must visit bar if you’re in Paris.
@lebarjosephine at the @hotellutetia is an elegant piano bar inside a swanky hotel that is great for late night cocktails and a bite. Have to add that these first 3 bars offer all the olives, peanuts and infused cucumber water to keep the night going. The ceiling art was breathtaking and the overall décor and vibe were classic and chic.
@buvetteparis, a personal favorite form #NYC@buvettenyc never disappoints. I love their cocktail cart and the staff is always the friendliest! Go for brunch, dinner, pre-dinner cocktails or post-dinner cocktails. Their food menu is small so you can always go for dessert or just to sit in a chic Parisian cozy spot and see people walk by.
@lepigalleparis is a neighborhood bar offering tapas style dishes that are great for pre dinner or after dinner drinks. It’s a great spot for light bites after seeing the Sacre Coeur. So many others but not enough time. I have one more day, so I’ll try to get to as many as humanly possible. Feel free to save this for the next time you go to Paris. I’m in love!
