If you are planning a trip to Provence, you must have certainly wonder and likely done your research on where to find the most beautiful lavender fields in Provence. The most common answer to where to find lavender fields in Provence is the Valensole Plateau. I know because I searched for the same, but this place was somewhat far from where we were, so I started looking for local lavender fields. Note that there’s lavender everywhere you look in Provence, it reminded me of the lupins fields that were all over the South Island in New Zealand. I was pleasantly surprised to read that Domaine de Fontenille has a small lavender garden near the main terrace.
It was pretty, not abundant as I wanted it to be but serve its purpose, I got my lavender “field” photo in Provence and got to have more rose in this beautiful property after so all in all it was a win-win situation. My point is that sometimes you have to adjust your expectations and get creative, use what you have at your disposal and go with it. Also, my favorite Doen dress is 50% OFF.
