I’m all about skirts and dresses when it comes to summer wear. I do occasionally throw on shorts or wide-legged pants when they’re light but for the most part, my closet is full of colorful skirts and dresses that I’ve been collecting for years. I love clothes, that’s no secret but I’m also very picky when it comes to splurging, even for basic pieces, I tend to go with the ones I know will last forever, I enjoy watching trends but at least I like them on me I don’t buy them just because they’re the latest trend everyone is wearing these days. Take this skirt, for example, it’s one of my favorites. I got a while ago and I’ve worn it to the beach, seen here in Isla Morada (my travel guide here), to dinner with friends, to brunch, to a night out with my best friends where we enjoyed cocktails, I had the rose, of course, live music and a great evening catching up with friends back home. I still get giggly every time I put it on. Fun fact, I went home for 3 weeks last year and ended up staying 5 months (long story), so I didn’t pack the top I always wear with this skirt. Not to panic, my friend Julia came to the rescue with these super cute and very affordable crop tank tops she found on Amazon. She got them in a few colors, and I went I came back, I immediately bought them. they’re light, I wear them all the time. I love a good find so wanted to share it with you in case it was helpful.

Wenn es um Sommerkleidung geht, stehe ich ganz auf Röcke und Kleider. Gelegentlich ziehe ich Shorts oder weite Hosen an, wenn sie leicht sind, aber meistens ist mein Kleiderschrank voller bunter Röcke und Kleider, die ich seit Jahren sammle. Ich habe es vor einiger Zeit am Strand getragen, hier in Isla Morada gesehen (mein Reiseführer hier), zum Abendessen mit Freunden, zum Brunch, zu einem Abend mit meinen besten Freunden, wo wir Cocktails genossen haben, hatte ich die Rose natürlich, Live-Musik und ein toller Abend mit Freunden zu Hause. Ich werde immer noch jedes Mal kichern, wenn ich es anziehe. Lustige Tatsache, ich war letztes Jahr für 3 Wochen nach Hause und blieb am Ende 5 Monate (lange Geschichte), also habe ich nicht das Oberteil eingepackt, das ich immer zu diesem Rock trage. Keine Panik, meine Freundin Julia kam mit diesen super süßen und sehr erschwinglichen Crop-Tanktops, die sie bei Amazon gefunden hat, zu Hilfe. Sie hat sie in ein paar Farben bekommen, und ich bin zurückgekommen, ich habe sie sofort gekauft. Sie sind leicht, ich trage sie die ganze Zeit. Ich liebe einen guten Fund und wollte ihn mit Ihnen teilen, falls er hilfreich war.

Me encantan las faldas y los vestidos cuando se trata de ropa de verano. De vez en cuando me pongo pantalones cortos o pantalones anchos cuando son ligeritos, pero en general, mi armario está lleno de faldas y vestidos coloridos que he coleccionado por años. La tengo hace un tiempo y la he usado para la playa, visto aquí en Isla Morada (mi guía de viaje aquí), para cenar con amigos, para brunch, para una noche de fiesta con mis mejores amigos donde disfrutamos de cócteles, tomé vino rose, por supuesto, música en vivo y en general una noche divina para ponerme al día con amigos que no veía hace años. Todavía sonrío cada vez que me la pongo. Dato curioso, me fui a Ecuador durante 3 semanas el año pasado y terminé quedándome 5 meses (larga historia), así que no empaqué la blusa que siempre uso con esta falda. No fue tan malo ya que mi amiga Julia vino al rescate con estas camisetas súper lindas y asequibles que encontró en Amazon. Las compró en algunos colores, y cuando volví, las compré de inmediato. Son ligeras, las uso todo el tiempo. Me encanta un buen hallazgo, así que quería compartirlo contigo en caso de que te fuera útil.
