I’ve always loved pieces from LoveSchackFancy, the flattering silhouettes, beautiful details and vintage looks are lovely and not to mention the stores are so romantic, you smile before you even go inside the store. Most of them have over-the-top flower arrangements, chic seating space and you are instantly in a good mood, which is exactly what you’re looking for when you go shopping. Now, let’s talk summer wardrobe planning when you’re heading out east. Keep in mind the season, you want to be comfortable and look chic and have to factor in the cooler temperatures early in the morning and late in the evening after sunset.
That being said, a well-structured maxi dress like this little combo I wore last time I went to Wolffer Estate Vineyard, is a perfect example of a look that is classic, sophisticated and will keep you looking glam while wine tasting, and you can immediately take this dress to dinner right after a few glasses of wine. Other options to consider with this look are a light jacket or pashmina you can easily throw on if you get cold at night. Sneakers also go great with this look but in the summer when I’m just lounging and not walking that much I always opt for the sandals.
When in doubt on what to wear to the Hamptons in the summer, try cut off shorts, linen pants, midi dresses or an all-white ensemble, which you can never go wrong with it.
