Going back to my time at Lake Lucerne on a quiet Sunday afternoon relaxing, taking it all in and having the best conversation with the lovely Evelyn Grace, which graciously, see what I did there?, took these photos. That’s the thing about traveling, when you least expect it, you are connecting, enjoying and falling in love with a new place. It’s not just about seeing and going somewhere new but picturing yourself living there, doing your everyday there. or maybe it’s just us that daydream about our lives wherever we go. I had the best time in Lake Lucerne, less than hour outside Zurich, made new friends and disconnected for once! Check out more of her wonderful work here.
Now, let’s talk more about the setting the outfit. The view, the lake, the mountains, the ferrys going by, the Hotel Vitznauerhof, the Strandkorb, the time standing still as we soaked in the clear lake water without any plans but to enjoy the present, thank you Lucerne, it was good to be back! The outfit, simple but bright and always making a statement. This oxford tunic is one of my favorite pieces, I have it in 4 colors and the collection will only continue to grow. Throw it on for any beach, pool or lake day and you’ll feel polished, classic and put together, even when you’re covered in sunblock and rushing to lunch as you have a catch a train in the next hour.
