Barcelona in October can be feel like late spring/early summer in Northeast U.S. Some days you can wear a light jacket in the mornings and evenings but the afternoons can be so pleasant that get to high 70s and you can wear light maxi dresses to neighbor vineyards. I came to Barcelona for the first time in 2019 and loved it. This time, I wanted to see more of the surrounding areas so today Rolf and I did a little roadtrip to wine country and ended up at Bodegas Torres, a family-owned vineyard. It was the most perfect fall day, fall for Barcelona I mean. We learned about the family and the various vineyards they have in Chile, Sonoma and Spain, the legacy. We got to do a tour of the property, visited the cellars, tasted some wines, ate some tapas and walked around the property. The tour, wine tasting and tapas package was 26 Euros per person, well worth it for a quick day trip if you have the time.

Dieses Mal wollte ich mehr von der Umgebung sehen, also machten Rolf und ich heute einen kleinen Roadtrip ins Weinland und landeten bei Bodegas Torres, einem Weingut in Familienbesitz. Es war der perfekteste Herbsttag, Herbst für Barcelona, meine ich. Wir erfuhren von der Familie und den verschiedenen Weinbergen, die sie in Chile, Sonoma und Spanien haben, das Erbe. Wir machten eine Tour durch das Anwesen, besuchten die Keller, probierten ein paar Weine, aßen ein paar Tapas und gingen um das Anwesen herum. Die Tour, Weinprobe und Tapas-Paket kostete 26 Euro pro Person, es lohnt sich für einen schnellen Tagesausflug, wenn Sie Zeit haben.

Esta vez, quería ver más de los alrededores, así que hoy Rolf y yo hicimos un pequeño viaje a la región de vinos y terminamos en Bodegas Torres, un viñedo familiar. Fue el día de otoño más perfecto, me refiero al otoño de Barcelona claro sino estuviera más forrada. Aprendimos sobre la familia y los distintos viñedos que tienen en Chile, Sonoma y España, el legado. Pudimos hacer un recorrido por la propiedad, visitamos las bodegas, degustamos algunos vinos, comimos algunas tapas y caminamos por la propiedad. El paquete de tour, cata de vinos y tapas cuesta 26 euros por persona, vale la pena para un viaje rápido de un día si tienes tiempo.
