Late August and early September in Stockholm is very nice. You’ll enjoy sunny warm days and cooler early mornings and evenings. When packing I suggest a rain jacket or a small umbrella as it can rain here and there during this time of the year. Even if the forecast says no rain, trust me it may rain for five minutes, it can be a sprinkle or a hard fall as we had this day when we took a taxi 20-minutes outside Stockholm to visit the Artipelag. September is a good month to visit Stockholm as you’ll have less crowds and nice 70- and 60-degree weather, which was the perfect weather balance we needed as it was still very hot in Madrid.
What to Pack for Stockholm in September:
Cropped shirt
Long skirt
Mini skirt
Light sweater
Light mock sweater
Jeans or linen pants
Mesh or ballerina flats
Sneakers Sandals
Basic tee
Linen set
Artipelag
Artipelagstigen 1, 134 40 Gustavsberg, Sweden
Follow the Sun Exhibit: Cool art about the rich art history of sunflowers.
Imagine Van Gogh immersive experience: We saw this while in New York a few years ago and it was great!
Many restaurants where you can enjoy Swedish classics such as Fika (coffee and famous cinnamon rolls) while overlooking the archipelago. Sculptures and nature meet here. Definitely worth the visit.
