DRESS: SIMON MILLER SPIRAL DRESS VIA SHOPBOP (ALSO LOVING THIS RED MINI VERSION) | SHOES: STEVE MADDEN HADYN SLIDES (THE RAFFIA ONES ARE ON SALE FOR UNDER $50 RIGHT NOW).
Usually, I keep it casual when going out to dinner in Palm Beach, Florida. Casual, simple pieces range from midi to maxi dresses to pants and a nice top or a mini dress when it’s too warm in Palm Beach. Sometimes I get dressier if I want to wear a nicer piece or want to look more glam when celebrating something special. I recently wore this fringe dress as I wanted something extra to celebrate that 2024 is almost done. It’s a fun dress as it twirls as you walk and definitely causes a statement, and you’ll get eyes on you for you. I wore flats as I like to be comfortable, I actually have not worn heels since our wedding last year!
For the cooler months in South Florida, I always add a light jacket, chunky sweater or shawl. A chunky sweater looks great on top of a midi or maxi dress as you can still see the skirt part, get that summery look but dress for the weather at hand. White and denim with an oversized sweater and loafers are a favorite as we move into the “coolest” months of January and February. This dress is on the thicker side so it’s good to keep you warm for the evening. I took a jacket with me but never wore it as some days you still get amazingly summery days this month.
