Holidays in New York are what dreams are made of. The vibes, the energy, the decorations are beyond. From 5th avenue to the West Village, every corner is cuter than the next. The windows at Bergdorf Goodman, that take half a year to create are pure magic. Fashion meets art in the most subtle yet surreal way. The colors, the details are always such a delight to see. As an spectator, I couldn’t help but wonder how it would feel to wear these pieces, to be surrounded by these colors, these creations, these playful rooms. I can’t help but to feel joy and appreciation for the artists and team behind these masterpieces.
Year, after year, they do not disappoint but invite you to dream along this wonderful creative world. New York City will always have a special place in my heart; it was my home for 8 years. As soon as I land, I already feel the energy, it is homecoming, New York, New York, you’ll always be my love affair. Walking through the West Village, sitting on the stoops, seeing people walk by, seeing the fashion, friends gathering, people laughing. Getting lost as you walk by the townhouses, one by one, seeing the different décor styles. I love them all.

Washington Square Park is always a favorite, live music, live art, artists all around, classic New York City. Now. let’s talk about what to wear in New York in December. I love an oversized quilted jacket for cold fall and winter day. They are very roomy that you can wear all the layers you want and don’t look bulky. This read quilted jacket from Alex Mill is great to travel, especially for the holidays. The red and brown contrast make for a good combo to take on the season as we approach the end of the year and take on 2026 with everything we have!
What’s classier than brunch at Dante? Holiday cocktails, negronis on tab, friendly staff and the perfect setting for a leisure afternoon. Go for bite, stay the entire afternoon, the people watching is fantastic. The bar seating is always good for walk-ins and to get a feel of the vibe of the place. This time we tried the fluffy margarita and a negroni with fresh squeezed clementine juice besides my usual rose wine glass of course.

To wrap up a quick New York City trip, we stopped by the Union Square farmers’ market, snatched some apple cider and walked around the neighborhood. A stroll in Central Park followed by the Saks Fifth Avenue lights show, Rockefeller Center and all the holiday décor was everything I was craving and more! Happy holidays to everyone, I hope you get to spend them with your loved ones, smiling and looking cute, whether you’re wearing a new piece or something you have preserved throughout the years in your closet that looks and feels great!
