You can’t never really say goodbye to New York City, but you can say until next time! New York City has been home for the past seven years, but then the pandemic hit and I loved it even more but life also happens and now I find myself on the other side of the Atlantic for a few months of the year and I’m not mad about it. So New York City, I’ll see you again this fall and Christmas for the most magical time of the year. Can’t wait!

Summery in New York City can be temperamental at times, some months it feels like it’s spring, others like it’s fall and others like it’s a never-ending sauna. When in doubt, I suggest wearing light dresses that are very breathable but can also keep the wind away in the cooler evenings. I wore this piece a few times this summer and I was very pleased about it. Sizing runs large. I got the XS but it’s very loose, which is what I wanted but if you’re looking for something more fitted, then perhaps another brand should be considered.
