What to Wear in Hamburg in Fall

TOP: ZARA LINEN BLEND CROPPED BLAZER | PANTS: ZARA LINEN-BLEND CULOTTES (ALSO IN OTHER COLORS) | SHOES: STEVE MADDEN HADYN COGNAC MULTI SANDALS | SUNGLASSES: KAREN WALKER SUPER DUPER STRENGTH ROUND ACETATE SUNGLASSES.

Fall in Hamburg round two has been lovely so far. It has rained a few days here and there but not nearly as much as last year so that’s success in my weather book. I love this linen blend cropped blazer when I saw it. I prefer it cinched a little so I add a safety pin to pull it closer together. You can pair it with a sleeveless turtleneck or t-shirt for those cooler days. It comes in a peach color as well.

The linen culottes or cropped pants if I may say so are light for summer but also have a fall-esque vibe that you can wear to transition from summer to fall. They stretch so you can comfortably eat lomo saltado and have a few glasses of rose at lunch, go for a stroll after it and not feel tight after. The embroidery contrast is gentle but eye-catching. For those summer months, it’s a good piece to travel with because it’s light to pack and you can wear it to the beach with a top, to run errands or out in the evening if you just add a cute top on.

Fall in Hamburg can be so colorful, I can’t wait for all the trees to turn yellow, orange and red. But I’ll be content with the bright green we have at the moment. I think there’s still time to go for a spin around the canals, maybe next weekend. When in doubt of what to wear in fall/autumn in Hamburg, always have a layer with you, whether it is a sweater, scarf or oversized jacket to throw on when the sun hides and the evening sets. September and October are still nice to have a drink or enjoy a meal outside and most places have heaters and blankets if you need them.
