Fall season is a great time to visit Comporta, Portugal. You get to enjoy the nice weather, sandy beaches and wineries without the crowds. When I went last month, I packed mostly white and blue outfits to blend in with the beautiful colors. If you’re visiting this beautiful area just an hour south from Lisbon, I highly suggest you stay in Comporta versus Troia (north of the area). Comporta is a protected nature reserve, quaint, and beautiful. While at wine tasting, a local shared that you’re not allowed to build big buildings in Comporta but Troia is different, hence you find a lot more hotels in that area. Charm Comporta has everything you’ll need for a warm fall getaway.
