Let’s talk resortwear because the Northeast has been hitting hard this winter and we all need something to distract ourselves while we plan our next winter getaway. This Coniglio Palm Beach Marjorie caftan maxi dress is so sophisticated yet subtle. You can throw it on top of a bikini and a you’ll be ready for the beach. Add a sleep dress and you’ll be cocktail ready. This power ruffle pareo is my favorite, the color is bright that I can wear it with this multisize bikini that fits perfect on petite bodies as well as you can wear it with a matching button down to go out for dinner.
When it comes to packing for a winter getaway, I always take an oversized shirt with me. These stripe Mango shirts are my favorite ones. They are super affordable, they don’t need ironing and I can wear them from beach to cocktails and even to the office with pants of course. They are very lightweight, which are key in hot and humid weather. They bring them back every year, I have them in green, blue, pink and red. They are not too long but long enough to cover your entire body and feel at easy when on a bikini.
This linen ish oversized cover up is very cute and easy to pack. It covers everything so you can easily walk around in it without feeling self-conscious that it’s sea-through. Shell earrings, sleek sandals and a statement yet easy-going straw hat all you need for a winter getaway. I wore these on repeat while I was in Ecuador. Sunblock did not stain it so it lasted an entire week without having to wash it. Loose cover ups are my go-to for quick beach to pool changes. The off-white color is cute and looks great on a tan.
A matching button down and short set are my favorite combo to wear in summer, winter getaways, spring break, you name it. A colorful one adds more fun and life to your look. It’s laid-back yet chic and timeless. I wore this in Mykonos, Palm Beach, Ecuador, Dubai and the list continues. It’s very packable and you’ll be very happy to know that is on super sale, thank me later. Trust me, you’ll love it. It was such a showstopper! Matching sets for summer are perfect, no brainers, just throw it on, leave the shirt open, close it, style it however you want it. Plus you can mix and match the pieces with other solid color ones.
This chevron white and black combo is a thicker material one so I will wear it more in the spring or cooler summer days so it’s not too heavy on me, but I do love it, the fit is on the looser side, but the shoulders still sit right where they should be. It’s elegant, sophisticated and you can wear it from the beach to cocktail hour to dinner under the stars, barefoot preferably. The seashell earrings add a beachy feel to it and you can pack them easily and carry them with you from beach holiday to the next.
