Walk in el centro, see the cathedral, rooftops, very safe and very cute
Sunset drinks/dinner with a great view of the cathedral @negroni_ec
Visit el Cajas National Park, about 30 min from Cuenca. You can go for short or long hikes around the many lakes. Even when it rains, you can get to the visitor’s center and do a little walk and take in all the beauty.
Stop by @hosteriadoschorreras before or after el Cajas for gigant 🥐🥪 at their Panadería, Chocolatería or the main restaurant (where you can find local food), the also offer many activities you can do with kids, trout fishing/feeding, tractor riding, visit the town plus you get to see may 🦙🫏 just hanging around.
@bioparqueamaru is a good activity if you’re with kids, but be ready to hike, you’ll need 2.5
Visit el Paraíso park if you’re with kids. It has a playground, many 🦆🪿🐠, small piers and beautiful 🌳🪨 throughout the area to take long walks.
