Conference Dressing Room

When you go to a conference it is important to keep comfort in mind. You have to be ready for long days, a lot of walking and fast adjustment. I always try to keep it simple, chic and comfy while keeping a professional look of course. This fitted black H&M dress is an example of the outfits I tend to go for when attending a conference.

I added my Lauren Elan favorite pearl necklace, pearl stud earrings and Lower East Side (under $20) tan flats for comfort to complete the conference dressing room look. Some days I wear heels but it depends on the length and activities of the conference. You don’t want to be late or in pain because you picked the wrong outfit right?

Sunshine

I like mixing simple outfits with a pop of color. This H&M sunshine top and JCrew toothpick jean are great for summer and come fall and winter, all I have to do is throw a blazer and boots and I can continue to wear this sunshine inspired outfit.

The JCrew bubble necklace and Zara suede pumps add that pop of color to make the outfit brighter. On this post, I’m wearing my newest sunnies purchase, House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea sunglasses, and vintage gold earring studs.

Summer Linen

Rising temperatures demand linen extravaganzas, such as this super breezy JCrew tippi linen sweater. Linen has always been a friend of mine during summer, you can always rely on it and it keeps it cool.

Try it with my newest addition to blush shoes, the JCrew martina patent wedge, it’s slick, elegant and super comfortable, you won’t even know you’re wearing heels. The skirt is from Forever 21.

Accessories: Lauren Elan Elena necklace is just the statement you were looking for, the tangled mess, size variations forms a perfect party for your neck. I’m in love with it! Add my favorite Michael Kors watch, vintage bangles, Stella & Dot bracelet, Rayban aviators and Reiss bag.

Bright

Bright colors are great colors to wear year-round. I think most people associate bright colors with spring and summer but they can be very refreshing for fall and winter. It’s an unpredicted yet energizing look. Give deep bright colors a try this fall for a fun twist.

I can wear this bright summer combo in the spring and summer and add a blazer for a feminine yet casual look. It depends on the occasion, but I can dress it up or down with either high heels or pumps for a night out or wear pointy toe flats or sandals for a casual outing with your girlfriends.

My outfit: Zara blouse, JCrew toothpick jeans, Max Azria heels, Michael Kors watch, Stella & Dot bracelet, Asos ring, Mint Julep starfish earrings, vintage necklace, vintage bag.
