I tried the petite size and the fit is true to size. The dots compliment the texture of the ruffles and the off the shoulder silhouette, it’s light considering all the layers the off the shoulder top has. Ruffle tops have become my obsession lately, I’m a petite blogger and I’m always looking for those pieces that accentuate your figure and give you a nice silhouette and these are it! | Bottom: Rag & Bone distressed skinny heans/La Paz – I love this brand and the fit, it’s perfect for petite women, it highlights your figure and tucks everything in the right places. Dress: Caroline Constas margi strapless embroidery ruffle dress – I recently tried on this dress and the P (petite) size fitted like a glove. The small size also fitted well but the petite is more snug and felt better. If you’re wondering what to wear to a wine tasting weekend, I would recommend this style. It’s sexy, feminine and casual and just perfect for outdoor wine tastings | Hat: American Eagle Outfitters AEO straw boater hat – I’ve been wearing my J.Crew wide brim hat since last summer and I wanted a similar one in a different color. I’ve tried so many on and all of them have been huge but this one was designed for small head so fellow petite women out there if you’re looking for a wide brim hat, try this one on | Sunglasses: Karen Walker super duper strength sunglasses via Shopbop (take an extra 25% off sale items with code 25EXTRA, you have until tomorrow at midnight to take advantage of this offer, happy shopping!) – I have a small face but I love big sunglasses, the bigger the better. I like these round square ones or the cat-eye ones but simple round not so much on smaller faces | Shoes: Steve Madden Sweety sandals – if you have narrow feet, these sandals are great because the front part is tight and it prevents your skinny feet (if you’re anything like me) to fly away from the shoe.

Splurge vs Steal: Frayed Floppy Straw Hat

Straw hats are summer’s best accessories. You can wear them to the beach, to brunch, to run errands, you name it! They look super cute on and they protect you from the sun. I love floppy and boater hats, I alternate depending on my mood. The frayed floppy hat is a floppy hat with a twist, it’s so fun and a statement on its own.
