If you’re in southern California, sunny Florida, New Zealand or somewhere in South America, where it’s sunny and warm right now and everyone is tan, you’re probably enjoying the comfort of sandals and light summer clothing. For the rest of us, where winter seems to be stuck even though spring officially began on March 20, 2013 and we’re still unable to shake off this cold front on the Northeast coast, hold on tight because warmer days are just around the corner. To prepare and celebrate spring, I give you this colorful rainbow outfit to look forward for warmer spring days. Spring has sprung, so kick-off the season ahead with florals, bright colors, daring rainbow stripes, spring layers like a simple shirt with a bright top to make a contrast. What I Wore…

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of chatting with the charming Fanny Gutierrez from NoticiasDC, Univision about Halloween fashion under budget. Dressing for live TV can take some of your time, I went with classic pieces, my favorite JCrew tippi sweater, JCrew minnie pants, JCrew Martina patent wedges, JCrew circle crystal necklace, House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea sunglasses, Michael Kors runway watch, Stella & Dot renegade cluster bracelet.

Trina

Silk blouses have always been a good friend of mine. They’re reliable throughout seasons and always have that easy, comfy, chic feel. I wear this Trina Turk silk blouse with peach jeans in the spring and with JCrew Minnie pants at the office year around. Let’s move to outfit enhancement now.

Flats are a must-have in my bag. Blush flats are a must-have on every girl’s closet. You can get them pretty much everywhere but why pay $100 for flats you’re going to wore out in less than a year right? Mine are from Payless (under $20) and they look and feel great.

My LAMB bag was another bargain I got a few years ago at Loehmmans. Michael Kors oversize gold watch, House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea sunglasses, Stella & Dot bracelet and Forever 21 rings and JCrew belt completed my outfit. The top knot has become one of my favorite accessories for two reasons: it’s soooo easy to do (it takes me less than 2 minutes and keeps me out of trouble when I’m running late for work) and always looks classy.

Light it Up

JCREW pretty much rules my work wardrobe. I love it, it’s so classy, chic and it just fits rights! I find myself using its clothes for all types of occasions, so easy to mix and put together great outfits. This outfit is one of my favorites, I can wear it to the office and to go out, isn’t it great when you can wear the same outfit for two different places?
