The White Weekend

I don’t know about you but I wore white pretty much all of this past weekend. Given that the summer is officially over, I had to do it in white. Not to worry, even though the summer is officially over and you cannot get enough of fall fashion, white outfits will continue to emerge. On the bright side, the traffic going to and back from the beach won’t be as crazy, and personally I enjoy the beach in the winter as much as I do in the summer.

One of my weekend outfits was a Madewell tank top, Zara shorts, Zara heels (in love with them), Clare Viver clutch.

Rayban sunglasses, vintage pearl earrings, Michael Kors watch watch, arm party: Stella & Dot renegade bracelet, H&M, Foverer 21.

Hot Pink

This hot pink JCrew vintage tee has become one of my summer staples. It’s light, comfortable and you can pretty much wear it with anything. Check out previous looks here.

To add more pink fun, I decided to add this H&M skinny belt to my arm party to make the pink pop more. Summer is reaching it’s peak thus my American Eagle shorts and Sperry boat shoes.

Rayban sunglass and Mint Julep starfish earrings.

Conference Dressing Room

When you go to a conference it is important to keep comfort in mind. You have to be ready for long days, a lot of walking and fast adjustment. I always try to keep it simple, chic and comfy while keeping a professional look of course. This fitted black H&M dress is an example of the outfits I tend to go for when attending a conference.

I added my Lauren Elan favorite pearl necklace, pearl stud earrings and Lower East Side (under $20) tan flats for comfort to complete the conference dressing room look. Some days I wear heels but it depends on the length and activities of the conference. You don’t want to be late or in pain because you picked the wrong outfit right?

True Magic Love

Have you heard of MClaraSoto? If not, you should check it out. You’ll find supercute and affordable handmade jewelry and print designs.

Let me tell you a little bit about MClaraSoto’s creations and how a young girl turned her hobby into her business. It all started while Clara was in Argentina and she found herself cutting recycled pneumatic rubber that turned into a handbag, taking little pearls and stones and sewing them together to make necklaces… you get the picture right?

The next step was where to sell, who to contact and how to promote her creations. Clara continued to design and create on the road.. this road took her to Portugal where she created her first promotional materials with the help of “Call me Maybe” and my other dear friend Claudia.

Clara is now in Paris, where she continues to work on her True Magic Love line from a quaint apartment. You can find these fabulous handmade jewelry and print designs on Etsy.
Xoxo,
