Conference Dressing Room

When you go to a conference it is important to keep comfort in mind. You have to be ready for long days, a lot of walking and fast adjustment. I always try to keep it simple, chic and comfy while keeping a professional look of course. This fitted black H&M dress is an example of the outfits I tend to go for when attending a conference.

I added my Lauren Elan favorite pearl necklace, pearl stud earrings and Lower East Side (under $20) tan flats for comfort to complete the conference dressing room look. Some days I wear heels but it depends on the length and activities of the conference. You don’t want to be late or in pain because you picked the wrong outfit right?

True Magic Love

Have you heard of MClaraSoto? If not, you should check it out. You’ll find supercute and affordable handmade jewelry and print designs.

Let me tell you a little bit about MClaraSoto’s creations and how a young girl turned her hobby into her business. It all started while Clara was in Argentina and she found herself cutting recycled pneumatic rubber that turned into a handbag, taking little pearls and stones and sewing them together to make necklaces… you get the picture right?

The next step was where to sell, who to contact and how to promote her creations. Clara continued to design and create on the road.. this road took her to Portugal where she created her first promotional materials with the help of “Call me Maybe” and my other dear friend Claudia.

Clara is now in Paris, where she continues to work on her True Magic Love line from a quaint apartment. You can find these fabulous handmade jewelry and print designs on Etsy.
Xoxo,
Maria

Sunshine

I like mixing simple outfits with a pop of color. This H&M sunshine top and JCrew toothpick jean are great for summer and come fall and winter, all I have to do is throw a blazer and boots and I can continue to wear this sunshine inspired outfit.

The JCrew bubble necklace and Zara suede pumps add that pop of color to make the outfit brighter. On this post, I’m wearing my newest sunnies purchase, House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea sunglasses, and vintage gold earring studs.
