Norway has been on our bucket list for a long time. So this Labor Day Weekend, we decided to head up north from Hamburg and visit this beautiful country. See my recommendations for what to do in Oslo in 48 hours and my suggested packing list for early September. The Oslo to Bergen train journey is everything you have heard off and more. Book ticket online on rail.ninja.com, choose from 3 options. USD$160 per person. If you travel first class, you get wifi (USD$200 per person). 3 trains also travel the other way daily.
Depart from Oslo Central Station, the name is in black font to the left, not to be confused with Osbanehallen in green font, which looks like a station from outside as it was the original train station from #Oslo. Today, you can find shops, restaurants, and other shops there. 7 hours, 180 tunnels, 22 stops.
Sit on the right side to get closer to the best views, the left side gives you fantastic glimpses closer to #Myral, about 4.5 hours into the trip, you’ll see the mountains with snow.
It has the most breathtaking views of the famous fjords, lakes, waterfalls, scenic mountains and everything in between of Western Norway. It’s known as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world.
We took the 12PM train so we could walk around a little bit in the morning and enjoy breakfast at Cafe Cathedral. There’s also a Joe and the juice, Espresso House, and many other spots for a quick breakfast but we wanted eggs and to enjoy the beautiful space. The train has a cafe with hot and cold snacks, coffee, wine, beer, salads and desserts.

El tren parte de la estación central de Oslo en el centro de la ciudad, el nombre está escrito en negro y esta del lado izquierdo. No te confundas con Osbanehallen, la cual fue la estación original de Oslo y actualmente tiene tiendas y restaurantes.

Siéntate del lado derecho para las mejores vistas, el lado izquierdo te da mejores panoramas cuando te aproximas a Myral, a las 4.5 horas de viaje de las montañas con nieve.
Puedes disfrutar de los panoramas más lindos desde los famosos fiordos, lagos, cascadas, montañas espectaculares, ovejas y demás.
Tomamos el tren del medio día para tener tiempo de caminar un poco en la mañana y desayunar en un restaurante al lado de la catedral un buen desayuno también hay cafeterías alrededor de la ciudad si quieres algo rápido.
