Like sands through the hourglass, so are the fall days of our lives. I don’t know why but the opening words from “The Day of Our Lives” flashed through my eyes as I’m accepting the fact that summer is gone, and fall is here to stay. Not to worries, I have put together this summer to fall look in hopes it makes the sunny to warm tone colors more bearable. This was one fine day in Christiania, Copenhagen.

Don’t get me wrong, I love fall, but somedays it almost feels like winter so I’m coping the best I can. Let’s start with this overshirt. It’s loose so you have some room for layers but also light that you can just wear a t-shirt or light sweater for those sunny fall days. Now let’s hope I can keep wearing light jackets for a bit longer in Hamburg before I completely switch to my winter jacket.

I love a white on white with a splash of camel tones outfit so the subtle contrast floral embroidery on this overshirt, which is really a light denim jacket, was perfect for strolling through Copenhagen in August when you are comfortable and cool while the sun is out and can get by with a t-shirt but need the extra layer the minute the sun hides and it’s not heavy so you can put it around your waist or on top of your bag and it’s easy to carry.
