Mount Ulriken, the highest of the seven mountains around Bergen, Norway, has easy hike paths that locals use daily. Ulriken gives you some of best views of the city and the mountain gives you spectacular views of lagoons and sheeps that are just hanging out throughout the mountain, they are very cute, and you can get close to them, they are friendly.
If you don’t have time to hike all day, you can take the Ulriken bus that departs from the city center, close to the tourist information spot, and then take the Ulriken cable car and walk around the mountain or buy a one-way ticket and hike down. There’s a café, and a nice restaurant, Skyskraperen, you can get a snack or a glass of wine to take in all the nature around you. It’s 643 meters above sea level.
