I know you have heard of this myth that you are not supposed to wear white after Labor Day Weekend (U.S. holiday), but I don’t really follow this. I love wearing white on white all year long. White on white ensembles in the fall and winter are very subtle. Take this look for example, you can play with layers as you transition from summer to fall. A white crisp white shirt paired with a maxi off white skirt and mesh flats are great for those cooler summer days. I wore this while in Stockholm as I wanted to have light layers on for those windy fronts but be comfortable and breezy when the sun strike.
More white on white outfits and alterations of it can be the following:
1) White vest and long off white skirt
2) White vest and off white Bermuda shorts
3) Camel crew neck sweater and off white linen pants
4) White crisp shirt with puffed sleeves, off white linen pants, brown belt and sandals or burgundy loafers
5) Black tee, off white linen pants, brown belt and sandals
6) Black short sleeve shirt, linen off white pants, black belt and flats
7) White tee and off-white linen pants
8) Black crew neck sweater, white crisp midi or asymmetrical skirt
9) White crisp shirt with the sleeves rolled up, pop of color flats, white denim (personally I’m still wearing skinny jeans versus the relaxed fit partly because they still fit and because how they look so haven’t really try others as I barely wear jeans but maybe this fall, the key is to dress for you, dress with what you feel comfortable with and what makes you feel the most beautiful in your own skin without following a trend just because it’s staring at you).
10) White crisp shirt, white denim, cashmere sweater on your shoulders, mesh flats or sneakers
