Let’s get down to business, today, I’m sharing a simple denim on denim look that you can replicate this spring. I’ve updated this top a few times. I think I started with my J.Crew ones that after a decade they got holes in them so eventually I had to replace them and this easy look I found it on TJMaxx which is always a good outlet to get discounted pieces that look great on you without breaking the bank! Wear it to the office, to brunch, to happy hour or to your usual Trader Joe’s run. I like the shorter sleeves of this top because it’s breathable for those hotter spring days.
Here’s another way to wear a Canadian tuxedo in darker colors, which I wore to the office and then to happy hour in Washington, D.C. in March. Here’s lighter wash of the denim on denim combo also with a vest that I wore last November in Amagansett. Here’s another darker wash with a long sleeve shirt and a red cardigan for a pop of color that I wore in San Sebastian last September. If you want a throwback, here’s a collection of denim looks from 12 years ago! Denim on denim transcends seasons and decades apparently. When getting dressed or styling an outfit the key ingredient is confidence. You do you and wear what you’re the most comfortable in!
