It’s not officially autumn season until you put on a houndstooth blazer. The warm, woolen fabrics are perfection. You’ll always look chic, elegant, and stylish in one. It can be an everyday outfit or formal depending how you style it. You can elevate your dress-up time with a classic houndstooth blazer and there are so many brands to choose from, depending on your fit preference and budget. Mine is from Mango, it’s a good structured fit, timeless and you can be certain you’ll wear it year after year. As you transition from summer to fall, a houndstooth blazer and simple black shorts or skirts are a good starting point.
How to wear a houndstooth blazer with pants: You can mix and match a plaid, patterned, houndstooth blazer or however you want to call it, with black pants, black leggings, skinny (I still love the fit and you have to dress for you, choose to dress with what makes you feel comfortable and the most you, for me when it comes to jeans are skinny jeans as they perfectly fit my petite body) or loose jeans.
How to style and accessorize a houndstooth blazer: Add a belt. A plum wool hat is a good option to add a little something extra to your look, it keeps your head warm on those cold fronts. When it comes to shoes, I tend to go with comfortable, mules, knee high boots, ballerina flats or sneakers depending how I’m feeling that day. When it comes to tops, add a simple white tee, a grey hoodie, a green mock sweater, a cropped long sleeve shirt, a black sweater, something simple that will let the houndstooth blazer shine on its own.

Un gorro de lana color ciruela es una buena opción para agregar algo extra a tu look, mantiene tu cabeza abrigada en esos frentes fríos. En cuanto a zapatos, suelo usar mules, botas hasta la rodilla, bailarinas flats o sneakers, dependiendo de cómo me sienta ese día. Cuando se trata de blusas, agrega una camiseta blanca simple, una sudadera con capucha gris, un suéter verde simulado, una camisa corta de manga larga, un suéter negro, algo simple que hará que la chaqueta de pata de gallo brille por sí sola.
