For springtime, I like to wear light, comfortable pieces that I can layer on. A Canadian tuxedo made up of a light, fitted sleeveless vest paired with denim, or same-colored pants is a favorite because I can wear the outfit on its own for happy hour or when I grab lunch that the weather is usually warmer during springtime. For the cooler mornings or afternoons as I’m commuting, I can throw on a shawl or a light jacket or puffer jacket depending on how much the temperature drops. I added my favorite reddish patent leather loafers to highlight the dark tones of the look.
This same outfit can be worn with a white shirt underneath the vest for extra layers and warmth. It will brighten up the look and look very polished and put together. For additional color plays, you can add a colorful jacket over the shoulders to mix and match a little more. For this darker denim, I would add warm tones such as beige, pink, blues, but for a pop color I would add a brighter pink or a red to make more of a statement.
