French Countryside Summer Style

DRESS: MANGO DRESS (SIMILAR HERE AND BELOW ON THE SLIDING WHEEL) | SHOES: ZARA FLAT CROSSED LEATHER SANDALS | HAT: FREYA FIELD GARDENIA HAT.

French countryside summer style is casual yet chic. Always have a straw hat handy and sunglasses of course. I wore sandals the entire week. Sundresses, maxi, midi dresses were worn as well as linen pieces and light color ensembles. This day was 100 degrees, so an easy summer dress was in order. As the temperatures rise, I decided it was a hat and bun kind of day, no time or energy to do my hair as I was going to have it up all day due to the heat so that was that. We were at La Maison d’Estournel in Saint Estephene, we went to Chateau Pichon Baron for a tasting.

After, we drove further north to Soulac sur mer for some beach time. Medoc region has chateaus everywhere you look, you can go in for a tasting or a tour if you book in advance. Some places will have restaurants so you can have a more complete experience. Soulac sur mer was very cute, a quaint beach town with its boardwalk, shops, restaurants and fair area for the children. If you want beach time but don’t want to go where the tourists go in Arcachon, try Soulac sur mer.
