Casual Friday looks for the office are a bit of blend since hybrid and remote work are also a factor. Some dress up only for client meetings, others keep it casual all week around. There is something to business casual looks that personally I like to keep at least one piece that is a little more dressed up. For instance, if I’m wearing casual slacks and loafers, I add a cropped or tucked in shirt to give it the business casual or casual Friday vibe. If I’m wearing a white tee with jeans, I add a blazer to bring it all together. Shoes these days I’m just going with flats, loafers, ballerina flats and everything in between.

Even in the summer, when you don’t want to have anything on, I always keep a blazer, shawl or sweater around to my look more professional even om those super-hot days that we only want to be wearing the most minimal pieces we can get our hands on. With looser clothes everywhere around us, dressing up gets a little twist, and we can choose if we want to dress it up or down depending on the occasion, the season, and our mood of course. Somedays I just want something fitted and polished, others I want the loosest top because I don’t want to be sweating around in the heat of the summer.
