Trendy Thursday: Winery Hoping

Dress: Caroline Constas margi strapless embroidery ruffle dress – I recently tried on this dress and the P (petite) size fitted like a glove. The small size also fitted well but the petite is more snug and felt better. If you’re wondering what to wear to a wine tasting weekend, I would recommend this style. It’s sexy, feminine and casual and just perfect for outdoor wine tastings | Hat: American Eagle Outfitters AEO straw boater hat – I’ve been wearing my J.Crew wide brim hat since last summer and I wanted a similar one in a different color. I’ve tried so many on and all of them have been huge but this one was designed for small head so fellow petite women out there if you’re looking for a wide brim hat, try this one on | Sunglasses: Karen Walker super duper strength sunglasses via Shopbop (take an extra 25% off sale items with code 25EXTRA, you have until tomorrow at midnight to take advantage of this offer, happy shopping!) – I have a small face but I love big sunglasses, the bigger the better. I like these round square ones or the cat-eye ones but simple round not so much on smaller faces | Shoes: Steve Madden Sweety sandals – if you have narrow feet, these sandals are great because the front part is tight and it prevents your skinny feet (if you’re anything like me) to fly away from the shoe.

    1. Thanks so much lady, I’m loving all your tutorials! I love eye make up but have never been able to do it on my own. Hopefully I can change that, xoxo, Maria

  1. I would love to do some wine country tours in such a pretty outfit! Your focus on straw hats makes me want to get one of those large brim ones! When I was on vacation not too long ago, the one thing I regretted was not bringing a wide-brim hat with me!

Also, that dress is absolute perfection. I would love to have that in my closet!

    1. Thanks lady and welcome back! Your trip looked amazing. Straw hats are my best friends for summer, I love them all, they protect you from the sun and they look super cute on. It’s a win win on my book, xoxo Maria

    1. The sunglasses are a bit pricey but definitely worth the investment. I have the cat eye ones and the round ones from Karen Walker and they’re great, xoxo Maria
