Earlier this week, I visited the eclectic and lively Wynwood art district located in the urban core of Miami. I spent the afternoon walking around the 50 city blocks area with its 400+ businesses and 200+ street murals. The neighborhood is full of live, and a must-see when visiting Miami. Fashion is my art, a way to express myself, share my style and connect with others. I was so excited to finally visit the one of the largest open-air street-art installations in the world and see it in all its glory. I’ve been forever in love with anything and everything polka dots so wearing this ZARA white and black pleated polka dot midi skirt to battle the cold front was an easy choice. I opted to wear it with my go-to white ruffled top that I take with me every time I travel because it’s light and I get to mix and match it with shorts, jeans, skirts and everything really. The gingham heels were a last-minute decision to add a little contrast to my polka dot ensemble. I hope everyone had a great weekend.
Anfang dieser Woche besuchte ich das vielseitige und lebendige Kunstviertel Wynwood, das sich im Stadtkern von Miami befindet. Ich verbrachte den Nachmittag damit, durch die 50 Stadtblocks mit ihren über 400 Geschäften und über 200 Straßenmalereien zu spazieren. Die Nachbarschaft ist voller Leben und ein Muss, wenn Sie Miami besuchen. Mode ist meine Kunst, eine Art, mich auszudrücken, meinen Stil zu teilen und mich mit anderen zu verbinden. Ich war so aufgeregt, endlich eine der größten Open-Air-Straßeninstallationen der Welt zu besuchen und sie in all ihrer Pracht zu sehen. Ich bin für immer und alles in Polka Dots verliebt gewesen, also, diesen ZARA weißen und schwarzen gefalteten gepunkteten Midirock zu tragen, um die kalte Front zu kämpfen war eine einfache Wahl. Ich entschied mich dafür, es mit meinem weißen Oberteil zu tragen, das ich jedes Mal mit mir nehme, weil es leicht ist und ich es mit Shorts, Jeans, Röcken und allem wirklich kombinieren kann. Die Gingham-Heels waren eine Entscheidung in letzter Minute, um meinem Polkapunkt-Ensemble einen kleinen Kontrast zu verleihen. Ich hoffe, alle hatten ein tolles Wochenende.
A principios de esta semana, visité el ecléctico y animado distrito artístico de Wynwood ubicado en el centro urbano de Miami. Pasé la tarde caminando por el área de 50 manzanas con sus 400 negocios y 200 murales de arte. El vecindario está lleno de vida y es una visita obligada cuando visites Miami. La moda es mi arte, una forma de expresarme, compartir mi estilo y conectarme con otros. Estaba tan emocionada de finalmente visitar una de las instalaciones de arte callejero al aire libre más grandes del mundo y verla en todo su esplendor. Siempre he estado enamorada de cualquier cosa y todo tipo de polka dots, así que esta falda midi con polka dots plisada en blanco y negro de ZARA para luchar contra el frente de frío fue una elección fácil. Opté por usarla con mi top blanco de randas que llevo conmigo cada vez que viajo porque es liviano y puedo mezclarlo y combinarlo con shorts, jeans, faldas y todo realmente. Los tacones de gingham fueron una decisión de último minuto para agregar un poco de contraste a mi conjunto de polka dots. Espero que todos hayan tenido un gran fin de semana.
